Joshua grew up on a farm in rural Minnesota and followed in the entrepreneurial footsteps of much of his family. When he was only 16, he started his first business selling car parts to pay for college. He later discovered his passion for architecture and construction, which led to attending college for Architectural Drafting and Construction Management. After college he moved to Fargo with his soon to be wife, to pursue a career in construction and be closer to his family, most of whom live in North Dakota. Today he enjoys learning and implementing anything he can about architectural theory and building science.
